Not only is Anna’s entrepreneurial drive an inspiration, but her passion is promoting women. Introduce yourself:
Hi my name is Anna Renderer, I’m a 10 year fitness professional, entrepreneur, and host of POPSUGAR Fitness!
Why did you create Tight Life:
I created my brand “Tight Life” and signature program “The Sexy Confident Woman Formula” to teach women all the Smart, Simple, Small steps to living their best life. Women are such powerful human beings and I want to build an army of women that can fully utilize their power!
What is one sentence of advice that you would give to a young lady starting out in your field:
My best piece of advice for a young trainer who is new in the fitness industry is to ask the right questions to your clients. Find out what your client needs and what obstacles hold them back from living their best life. Understand what would make them happy with their progress, so they can have small wins along the way to their ultimate goals. Too often we think we know the answers but we can’t truly help someone reach their goals unless we get to know them.
What does your weekly workout schedule look like:
I love variety in my workout schedule. It’s never the same but a typical week will include; 2 days of total body circuit strength training, 3 Days of 3-4 mile runs, 1 day stair workout, 1 day of yoga. I love to get a hike or swim into my program at least 1/month and I love riding my beach cruiser whenever I get the chance!
What are your favorite healthy foods:
Favorite healthy foods that I literally love, use in multiple different meals, and could survive on include Salmon, Kale, Brussels sprouts, Spinach, Almonds, Almond butter, Avocado, Apples, Lemon, Garlic, and Eggs.
Please share a favorite natural beauty remedy:
My favorite natural beauty remedy is using cold herbal tea bags for my eyes if I wake up and they look sleepy or swollen! It does wonders!
What is the first thing you do when you wake up:
The first thing I do when I wake up is drink 16oz of lemon water that sits next to my bed!
