My Long & Lean Ballerina Workout
It was only about two years after learned to walk that I slipped on my first pair of ballerina shoes at age 3. To this day, I still come back to ballerina-inspired routines that open up the body and bring a certain grace to fitness you don’t really find anywhere else.
This week, I authored a post on Lorna Jane Active’s Move Nourish Believe blog outlining some of my most trusted ballerina exercises, complete with step-by-step instructions for you to follow along.
Try some of the movements for yourself! They’ll strengthen your core, improve posture, and help you tone up for bikini season by working out just about every muscle group you can think of.
Be sure to let me know how you like it in the comments below or tell me about some of your own favorite workouts than make you feel elegant while still packing a punch!
